JSC "SULINKIAI" is producer of peat moss and growing mixes.
It is family owned company which started as fuel peat producer in 1938.
JSC "SULINKIAI" is harvesting peat moss on their own peat bogs in Lithuania. Annual peat
harvest is 150 000 200 000 m3. Some products can be offered from Latvia or Estonia, because it is shareholder of
a couple of other big peat companies in The Baltics.
Whether they are back yard gardeners in Denmark, greenhouse operators in Belgium or Turkey,
landscaping companies in The Middle East, they are pleased with the quality of our products and services.
The peat fields of Sulinkiai occupy 1,000 ha and have the researched reserves of 17 mln. cubic
meters of peat. Sulinkiai peat is not homogenous, it diverse in botanical structure and decomposition.
Peat is screened in to two main fractions: 0-10 mm and 0-20 mm. After screening peat maybe
packed into 150, 250, 300 liter bales. The "jumbo" bales of 6,000 or 8,000 liters are available for sale as well.
Besides raw material, company offers pre-mixed potting soil packed into 10, 20, 50, and 80 liter
bags. When producing potting soil company has a possibility to mix black and white peat from its own peat fields
according recipe of clients. Potting soil when it is produced on basis of white peat can be pressed into bigger
bales of 150 l, 250 l, 300 l and used by professional growers.
